The year started with a dry winter leading into a warmer than normal summer. Veraison was slower than usual which delayed fruit thinning. We managed our yields to two tons to the acre. The cooler summer nights kept acidity levels up and the fruit balanced. With smaller berry size and lighter clusters, we achieved great color and concentration.
